Quinoa, comes from South America and belongs to the group of so-called superfoods, i.e. plants containing valuable health-promoting values. Quinoa is a rich source of manganese, magnesium, iron, copper and phosphorus, which is why it is such a valuable and recognized grain. Soligrano Bio white puffed quinoa is a gluten-free product and is ideal for people with gluten intolerance.

Recipe – Inspiration:

Poppy-seed cake on the bottom of expanded quinoa

  • 200 g expanded quinoa
  • 1 can of poppy seeds
  • 100 g butter
  • 50 g honey
  • 1 bar of dark chocolate
  • 20 g flaked almonds
  • 20 g candied orange peel
  • 3 egg white

Melt the butter in a frying pan, then add honey and expanded quinoa – mix until the ingredients combine. Place the finished mass on the bottom of the cake tin lined with baking paper. Combine the poppy mask with egg whites, mix and place on expanded quinoa. Place the prepared dough for 1 hour in an oven preheated to 170 ° C. After cooling, cut the dough into portions, decorate with melted chocolate and almond flakes and candied orange peel.
