It lowers cholesterol levels and provides us with virtually fat-free, high-quality protein. What’s more, its high fiber content prevents blood sugar from rising too quickly after a meal, making it a good choice for people with diabetes, insulin resistance or hypoglycemia.
Soak the beans in cold water for about 10 to 12 h beforehand. After the required time, rinse, then pour into boiling water. Cook until tender, about 50 to 60 minutes, add salt at the end of cooking. Enjoy!
